I didn't find out until we went to the show room directly to go see our friend Kim Jones from the airport, that Men's AW2012/2013 theme was 'PARIS - TOKYO'. 

Inspirations drawn from the illustrator Antonio Lopez (who helped to define the iconic eras of fashion - 70's + 80's), Kim (once again) delivered a show that is very timeless and VERY luxury and VERY youthful. And surprisingly, I found so many pieces girls can rock as well! 

And the cherry on the top was a special mixed soundtrack by master Giorgio Moroder! <3 <3 <3

This wasn't just another typical promo type of event. Reebok came up with this phrase「Reethym of Lite」to emphasis on how light weight their new sneakers are. But we took the phrase on a different meaning and played with the word 「lite」as in「light」. So VERBAL, me and our team spent past 2 months to put together the idea of bring these killer 2D (print) campaign we shot back in May to come to life with 3D mapping graphics on stage.... using 'light' as the source. 

Im posting few images at the bottom of this entry for you guys to see the link between stills from the live show to 2D print so you know what Im talking bout. It really was AN AMAZING night!!!! It wasn't just sneaker heads or press people in the crowd. We had EVERYONE from all industries joined us in 1 place that night to celebrate with us!!!! Hate to say this, but it really was one of those shows where you HAD to see in person to understand!!!!!!

Thanks Palladium for featuring some of our brightest and the most talented friends such as the whole Kitakore team, Trippple Nippples (who toured with VERBAL & Mademoiselle Yulia this summer under the name ANGREE YUNG ROBOTZ)... I truly believe they are the future!!! 

The documentary is called 'Tokyo Rising' and directed by Thalia Mavros. Watch cameras follow Pharrell as he meets up with the city's creative class (ahem, including AMBUSH® ;)) to see what's being done to keep Tokyo thriving!!!
